EASY CROQUETTES RECIPE

Many chefs and other food sites have come up with different  croquettes recipes but i bet this recipe of mine beat them 10:0.You can use leftover potatoes and other few ingredients and i tell you its just so simple to make croquettes that you never look for its recipe again in the net.TRY THIS RECIPE

                         

 Ingredients:
                       4 leftover potatoes;peeled,washed and boiled till soft and tender
                       250 g minced beef
                       2 carrots,grated
                       1&1/2 cup breadcrumbs
                       1 tspn organic ginger
                       1 tspn organic garlic
                       1 tspn garam masala
                       1 tspn ground basil
                       1 cup all purpose flour
                       3 eggs ,beaten
                       salt and pepper
                       Cooking oil

                                        METHOD
 1. First is to fry the minced beef.On a medium sized nonstick pan,heat 3 tbspn of oil together with the garlic and ginger.Cook for half min or until their aroma is smelt allover the kitchen.
 2.Add the beef and start stirring .cook for 2 mins on medium heat until the beef is almost cooked.Stir in the grated carrots,the basil and garam masala.Season with salt and pepper and cook for another min.When the beef is all cooked and carrots are tender,turn of heat and rest it to cool.
 3. Meanwhile on a metallic bowl(or any bowl that can't break easily),put in the boiled potatoes and smash them using a masher.mash till soft and no crumbs seen in the potatoes.
 4. Add the beef mixture to the potatoes and stir well to combine.
 5. Now take a small  handful of the mixture and shape into cylindrical shapes using your hand.Do same to the rest of the beef potato mixture.
 6. On 3 different shallow dishes,place flour,eggs and breadcrumbs respectively.
 7. Take each croquette and coat with flour,then dip in the eggs and finally roll in the breadcrumbs to coat all over.Do this to all other croquettes.
 8. Heat frying oil  and deep fry the croquettes pair at a time till golden brown in colour.fry all croquettes.
 9. Transfer to a kitchen towel and dry any excess oil.
 10. Serve immediately accompanied by sweet cherry sauce.(will publish the recipe soon)
