THIS CHICKEN TERIYAKI RECIPE WILL MAKE YOUR TONGUE TINGLE FOR MORE
The first time i came to be in love with this Japanese recipe was when working at a local restaurant that serves Japanese cuisine.I never had a clue chicken would taste sweeter than the famous "kuku n chips" that we normally order at our local fast foods.Once you taste this chicken teriyaki recipe,it will become a routine of cooking it yourself or even making orders of it.Simple ingredients turning to be sweetest delicasy and i never told you,serving it with rice makes it more appealingly yummy.SEE THE RECIPE BELOW
CHICKEN TERIYAKI RECIPE SERVED WITH RICE
ingredients: for the sauce
- 3/4 cup dark soya sauce
- 1 tspn organic ginger
- 1 tspn organic garlic
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbspn natural honey
- 1 tspn lime juice
: for the dish
- 3 chicken breasts(halved and sliced)
- salt and pepper for seasoning
- 2 sprigs of fresh spring onions(finely chopped)
- fresh dhania(coriander) for garnish
- oil for frying
method
first is to make the teriyaki sauce;combine all ingredient for the sauce and stir well.thats just how simple the sauce is made.
1.in a large nonstick frying pan, heat 4 tbspn of oil in medium-high heat.meanwhile season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides .
2.add the chicken breasts to the skillet ,skin side down, and cook for two minutes each or until golden brown in colour and almost cooked
3.stir the teriyaki sauce you had made earlier and pour half of it into the chicken.reduce the heat on medium low heat.
4.when the chicken is cooked and all coated with the sauce,the dish is simply complete.
take out of heat and cut the chicken into bite able sizes and plate it.po
ur a little of the preserved teriyaki sauce over the chicken ,garnish with the onions and dhania and serve with hot white rice.really delicious!!
