APPLE CREME BRULEE

We all know apples for their crunchiness in mouth and sweet healthy taste.Have you ever thought of turning apples into candies?Apple creme brulee is the go;The brulee creme gives you a cinnamon scent that will make you crave for more and the caramelized brown sugar will blow your tongue with sweetness.See the recipe below that uses less than ten easy to find ingredients.

Ingredients.

                        - 4 granny smith apples
                        -  1 cup sour creme
                        -  4 egg yolks,beaten
                        -  1 tbspn cinnamon powder
                        -   1 tspn vanilla extract
                        -   1/2 cup brown sugar
                        -   1 tspn nutmeg

                                             METHOD

 1.  First is to prepare the apples,flatten the bottom of each apple using a knife so that each apple can     
seat firmly on level.
 2. Scoop the contents of the apple using an ice cream scoop and be careful to leave about 1/4 inch          wall and also don't tamper with the bottom.Aim is to create a bowl like apple.Take a peeler and           peel at least 2 vertical lines to decorate.
 3. Now its time to make the creme brulee . In a large bowl whisk together the sour cream,egg                   yolks,cinnamon,nutmeg,vanilla extract  and caster sugar.Place in a sauce pan and warm while                 stirring  continuously to prevent eggs yolks from cuddling up.
 4. Place the prepared apples in a prepared baking tray and pour the brulee mixture into the apples          using a serving spoon getting it close to the top as possible.Bake for 25 mins at 145 c.
 5. Meanwhile be making the sugar caramel.In a nonstick pan add 4 tbspn of water and pour in the         brown sugar.Stir for a few minutes to dissolve and cook at medium high heat for a minute or so           until the sugar starts to crystallise.take out from heat.
 6. Using a spoon ,top the baking apples with the sugar caramel and bake for another 10 mins.
 7. Take out of oven,cool in a rack  and then  serve .Enjoy
